Rachel G. Carrington
is a transplanted Kentuckian, the mother of seven and grandmother to three generations. Included with her many other interests, she spends much of her time in her favorite pastimes, reading and writing. She now lives in Ocala, Florida. As a child and later, as a young mother, she and her husband lived in southern Kentucky. To follow job opportunities, she moved to Cincinnati and stayed in southwestern Ohio throughout most of her working career. Before Rachel moved to Ocala, the couple, now empty-nesters, started spending their winters in Hawaii. After Brad’s death in 2009, Rachel continued to spend her winters in Hawaii until late summer, 2016, when she decided to make Florida her permanent home.
